• Old PDF documents without accessible labeling.

• Some interactive components require improvements in keyboard navigation.

• Known limitation — Image Gallery (ProGallery)

• The Wix ProGallery widget internally generates duplicate placeholder images in the DOM containing the `alt=""` attribute. These images do not provide content and should be ignored by screen readers using `aria-hidden="true`. However, the platform does not expose any API or mechanism to set this attribute on the component's internal elements. All actual content images in the gallery have descriptive alt text. This limitation is technical, stemming from Wix's customization restrictions, and has been formally reported to the platform team. It will be resolved as soon as Wix provides the means to do so.

• Keyboard focus order — Wix doesn't always allow precise control of the tab order, which can lead to inconsistent navigation flow.

• Drop-down menus — In some themes, the navigation submenus are not fully accessible by keyboard or do not implement the correct ARIA pattern (aria-expanded, aria-haspopup).

• Slideshows and carousels — They often lack keyboard-accessible controls or do not properly announce slide changes to screen readers.

• Forms — Depending on how they are constructed, some fields may have <label> tags that are not correctly associated.

• Embedded iframes — Embedded external content (videos, maps, third-party widgets) that lacks a descriptive title in the <iframe>.

• Animations — Wix does not always respect the prefers-reduced-motion system preference in its item entrance animations.

These issues are being reviewed and corrected progressively.
